Good morning beloved saint!

As I was walking in the park this morning, I felt the Holy Spirit reminded me that our Lord Jesus Christ Is Not only the author of our faith But He is the Finisher of our Faith!

Hebrews 12:2, “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Thus we need to often remind ourselves that whatever conditions that are prevailing around the world and around us, or the state of our own personal emotional and behavioural response and reaction —to our thought pattern, the joy, the peace, the struggle, the trials and challenges that we are facing—we know surely the Lord Jesus Christ is the Finisher or our Completor (Latin) one who fills up; fulfiller; (Jesus)

Jesus not only begins our Faith journey but also the fulfiller at the end of our life in Him!

Apostle Paul was in the Roman jail and that did not keep him away from writing so many epistles to encourage, admonish and exhort the saints. He reminded the saints  to continue to rejoice in the Lord Jesus Christ and in the end to finish the race!

Proverbs 4:23, “Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.”

As you continue to read Proverbs 4:24-27, you begin to realise that when we keep our heart (soul, mind, thinking, emotion and will) , it is important to continually guard, watch over our heart otherwise our heart will affect our walk with God.

Try and read :
Proverbs 4:23-27
Isaiah 26:3-4
Philippians 4:8-9

As we continue to meditate on the above verses we are being protected from negative thoughts or distorted thinking or cognitive distortion to progress in Him and with Him to finish our journey in Christ!

God bless and our Lord Jesus is with you and in you always
