Last Sunday service, I mentioned the word “Tribulation” and said that this word is found in
Two different occasions
Mentioned by our Lord Jesus Christ!
1) in Matthew 24:3-14, the Lord was talking about the great tribulation ( Jacob’s Trouble, Jeremiah 30:7) referring to the Jewish people
2) This great tribulation happened when the church has been raptured into heaven
1 Thessalonians 4:16
3) This great tribulation is brought by the judgment of our Lord Jesus Christ on the Christ rejected world!
This is called the wrath of the Lamb!
Revelation 6v15-17
Revelation 6-19
The Christians are not subjected to the wrath of the Lamb because Jesus Christ has forgiven our sin and our punishment was on Him
1 Thessalonians 5:9
4) The second tribulation was mentioned by Our Lord Jesus Christ means trouble, affliction, sorrow brought about by three factors:-
A) Satan
B) World system
C) The flesh—Old man
John 16:33, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
The solution to the above trouble is to be “In Christ”
Firstly, the Lord is our Prince of Peace and also has already destroyed the works of the devil!
1 John 3:8
1 John 5:4-5
1 John 2:15-1 John 2:17
Have a great week as you meditate on the above! The Lord loves you and He is in you, your victory!
God bless
